There's Poetry in Marriage

May the Lord bless all the Brothers who have been blessed by the Lord with a Wife, and may the Lord bless those Brothers who desire to marry. This week Book Huddle is focused on chap. 3 "the Discipline of Marriage." I wanted to share a bit of encouragement and upliftment with this short poem;

Marriage is beautiful, but it takes submission of a strong woman and committed love from a bold man.

Marriage has its ups and downs, but never fades away with the power of forgiveness and faith in God.

Marriages challenges ones ability to humble themselves even if they are right and give unconditional love when there is wrong.

Marriage is like that favorite song that can be played anytime and anywhere and you soul will dance to its rhythmic tone.

Marriage has no demands, its a trust in thee other will eventually fulfill the insecurities with the help from the Lord.

Marriage is a fight to be the best woman and man to give their best as the wife and husband

Marriage has no end and is perfect when both are born again in the sight of the Lord.

Marriage takes patience, preparation, and perseverance before it begins

Marriage is family so both must expect an unexpected birth of a new born kin

Marriage takes leaders no matter the color of their skin

Marriage is joyful even when there are failures, losses, and storms.

Marriage must be a strong desire and a deep understanding of God within the one you Love.

Marriage is a lifetime!

Discipline of Purity

Greetings Beloved Brothers! It’s been about a week since I have been able to return to The RoundTable.  I can only imagine the many things that have kept you occupied as well, so I hope that your week has been victorious in Christ from the challenging and sanctifying times of your life.

Is your Purity relevant or irrelevant?
The church has lost its grips on holiness slow to discipline and its members have dismissed godliness and by the world purity is irrelevant.

In leadership magazine there was a survey of 1,000 men in leadership concerning their purity 120/1000, 12% of the pastors has openly confessed they have committed adultery in the ministry.

In Christianity today there was a survey of 1,000 men concerning their purity and 230/1000—almost doubled. Overall ¼, 25% of men are unfaithful. Why is this true? NO DISICPLINE, the lack of self-sensual control, PURITY.

I share these shocking stats to open our notes and review after reading chapter 2-- The Discipline of “PURITY.” why? We are men after God’s own heart and it’s the legal sensualities, the culturally acceptable indulgences, which will take us down.

The heat of American culture has made a high expense to heighten areas of sexual senses causing many to go off course; consequently, driving into a masturbation wreck. These carnal cravings have allured men with its sensual attractions and obsessions (entertainment, images, language, ideas, and many other influences); it will not stop no matter the cost. Have you made the highest expense to guard your heart with your life?

Kent Hughes presents various heart hitting facts that burns our fleshly appetites and shred our weak excuses.

If you have yet to establish disciplines for yourselves we will journey through biblical principles to be equip and combat failing into sensual acts of lust, sexual immorality, pornography, adultery, and etc.

Sadly to say sensuality is easily the biggest obstacle standing in the way of godliness among men today, and is a wreaking havoc in the church.
.

Do you have boundaries and restrictions for your flesh, where are they? Remember brothers, men are not control base upon what they possess, but by what men are possessed by. So what may that be for you? If it is not your Purity, you will lose the reality of who God is and who God has called you to be. This will be the result of one who does not pursue Godliness with vigor, toil, extreme obsession, and INTENSIFIED SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE toward God!!

Listed below are some Life-Saving lessons that will help you become spiritually aware, increased discernment, and eventually build those pure boundaries and restrictions to your heart.

Pure Men Learning Life-Saving Lessons
Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things;
And give me life; revive me in your ways.  -Ps. 119:37-

1.       Desensitization--- Progressive state of exposing oneself to sin and removing oneself from Holiness   -- What do I mean by this, one who is hardened becomes callous and insensitive to the very person, matter, or belief he knows.
a.        Sensual indulgence leads to us desensitized yourself to God’s holy call, as well as to the danger and consequence of falling/ disqualified.
b.       Embracing of socially permitted sensuality desensitizes you to God’s call and makes you easy prey for the fatal sin of his life.

2.       Relaxation ---- When we are in causal control, we think we are the safest, when we feel no need to keep our guard up, to work on our inner integrity, to discipline ourselves for Godliness.  So when temptation comes he does not think of what he can fall.
a.        The greatest flaw in conduct which opens to disaster was relaxation forms the rigors and discipline.
b.       Conforming to the comforts of the flesh extends to moral life; it’s harder to maintain inner discipline. One becomes imminently vulnerable
c.        Most of us do not suspect anything usual--

3.       Fixation—A fatal Attraction --- The eyes that invites more lust and desire the man of God becomes blind to Purity and focus on Immorality.
a.        Sensuality is substituted for reality---
b.       The Less real God becomes --- It is an overwhelming complete forgetfulness ----Prov 6--- He becomes to a piece of bread. Godly men reduce themselves for fleshly acts eventually becoming easily consumed and devour.
c.        The longer we look or be active in sin, temptation, lust, the more we forget of what God looks like to us.
4.       Rationalization ---
a.        from deadly fixation to mind controlled by the passions and desires of lust—One become so assertive to fulfill their sexual appetite that intentions  become apparent ---
b.       Those in the GRIP of LUST are men ignore the warnings, run from purity, and silent their godly conscience.
5.       Degeneration – the pathology of that leads to a moral fall-
a.        The progressive states of regarding the previous warnings then becomes a great fall .

Godliness and sensuality are mutually exclusive and those in the grasp of sensuality can never rise to godliness while in its sweaty grip.

So what does this draw you to?

Key Steps as to living in the Discipline of Purity
·         Accountability ---Exercising yourself----selecting men who will be assertive and attentive to your spiritual well being

·         Prayer --- Actively committing to confessing and interceding for self and others

·         Memorization--- Loading your arsenal with Biblical Grenades that will help guard your heart and mind.  Sharpening your sword ----

·         Mind --- Discipline of the eyes---- here is where the most radical action is necessary---- ( Job31:1; Mark 9:47) Making a convent with your eyes ---

·         Hedges ---Boundaries around  your life---- Working with Women ( verbally intimate, flattering—flirtation) this is how many affairs begins—
o    —Be causation of being CHARMING “likable, easy-going”—( arouses unrequited desires in another)
o    - Don’t treat women with the causal affection you extend with females in your family.
·         Reality & Divine Awareness --- Don’t be succumb to “ I would never do such a thing”
·         Repentance--- ----HALLELUJHA!!

In conclusion men we must share the same mindset as our dear brother and leader in the faith Paul had. We must not be like the man who beats the air and pursues the perishable crown, but we must be the one who is daily in the spiritual arena fighting and competing for the imperishable prize. The race is not given to the mightiest, smartest, and talented; but it is given for those who are spiritually long-winded, and those who can endure the flesh and its environment until the end. We must train and exercise ourselves like going into the natural gym with much consistency in God’s word, heart-felt and gut wrenching prayer, fasting, and a mind steadily focused on the things above. God has called us to be clean not to be defiled and tainted in sexual-sensual immorality. For it was said in the holy command, “be ye holy, for I AM holy!” Brothers it is better to dwell with the lowly and righteous then to commune and prosper in the tent of the wicked.

Fornication is IDOLATRY

Greetings homies!! Praise God almighty for His excellence, mercy, truth, and grace! What manner of love has Father God bestowed upon us in sending Himself, in the arm of flesh through His anointed Son the Messiah Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior who was and is God. Jesus the man, whom is our pattern and example was without sin yet made sin on our degenerate behalf. Such a joy being called by God and removed from death, decay, corruption, and darkness; being deposited into the light, life, mercy, and favor of Jehovah God!
In today’s true I want us to briefly examine fornication from both the male and female perspective, but a more keen focus from the position of the man. For a second point of emphasis I would like to make a bold statement that, “fornication is equivalent to idolatry!” Or put another way, when a man fornicates rather married or unmarried he/she is also committing and breaking the commandment of idolatry.“You shall have no other gods before Me.” Now you may ask how can I draw a comparison of the two? Well of course Gods word will provide insight and let’s keep an open mind that I am humanly speaking and of course in faith I am being led fully by Gods direction in this. As it is God who has given me the wisdom, understanding, and insight; in addition to the innate ability to construct such writings.
Fornication is defined from a theological view as a male prostitute; a man who prostitutes his body to another’s lust for hire. This is a man who indulges in unlawful sexual intercourse, the term fornicator is also used to depict him as a whoremonger, hence “whore.” Now the same applies to women, but in different terms, meanings, and situations. My writing this is not to per se speak on fornication from a women’s role, but to shed light to men on the importance of purity and it’s connection to idolatry. For the sake of argument from both perspectives of male and females I will kill the noise by stating that, “ALL SEXUAL IMMORALITY IS SIN, NO MATTER WHAT GENDER COMMITS THE ACT!”
I would like us to dive into a bit of history from Gods Word, all the while providing some added information to the related topic I’m writing about. Now quickly it’s imperative that I share with you some key terms, their meanings, and origins. Fornicator is derived from the Greek meaning πôρνοσ pôrnos, πορνεîα porneîa [prostitution, fornication],πορνεθο porneùô [to commit fornication]. It is clear to see the relationship with these words is where we get porno and pornography from. When a man is engaged is unlawful sexual relations with a woman that is being filmed for the eventual selling of videos and DVD’s; that man is being paid for his service, thus making him a prostitute. Same for a man (young, old) who is doing it out of pure lust and desire with a woman (young, old) the sexual act, and even a man or woman who is even just watching a porno, but not physically committing the act is the same as committing the sexual act. This is prostitution and idolatry both physically and more importantly spiritually; I will go into detail on this later.
Another key term that I must shed light on is, “harlot.” which traditionally is ascribed to the woman. A harlot having a verb meaning similar to a male fornicator is a female prostitute. The relationship with the meanings of fornication-(or) and idolatry-(or) can be directly pinned to a harlot and/or harlotry. The biblical definition of harlot is its connection with prostitution of Gods people, both ancient and today. The meanings are as followed: “to go a whoring, commit fornication, be a harlot, serve other gods.” The term harlot was used to describe sexual misconduct on the female not the male partly due to the differing attitude in ancient Israel concerning sexual activity by men and women. This term in relation to both sexes was most intermittently used to construe “spiritual prostitution!” Both men and women can be dubbed as harlots because of is conjoined meanings. As I stated earlier I would share some of Gods Word to argue my stance that fornication is equivalent to idolatry, even possibly to demonstrate that committing both acts of sin at the same time is plausible; and that your are exclusively disobeying the first commandment, “You shall have no other gods before Me.”

Now let us take an ocular view into some Old Testament passages of scripture:
Jerusalem’s Harlotry
Then it was so, after all your wickedness—‘Woe, woe to you!’ says the Lord God—  that you also built for yourself a shrine, and made a high place for yourself in every street. You built your high places at the head of every road, and made your beauty to be abhorred. You offered yourself to everyone who passed by, and multiplied your acts of harlotry. You also committed harlotry with the Egyptians, your very fleshly neighbors, and increased your acts of harlotry to provoke Me to anger. “Behold, therefore, I stretched out My hand against you, diminished your allotment, and gave you up to the will of those who hate you, the daughters of the Philistines, who were ashamed of your lewd behavior. You also played the harlot with the Assyrians, because you were insatiable; indeed you played the harlot with them and still were not satisfied.  Moreover you multiplied your acts of harlotry as far as the land of the trader, Chaldea; and even then you were not satisfied. “How degenerate is your heart!” says the Lord God, “seeing you do all these things, the deeds of a brazen harlot. Ezekiel 16:23:30 (NKJV)
In this passage the prophet Ezekiel being used by God is saying that Jerusalem has committed “spiritual prostitution,” the same as a man fornicating when placing sexual desire above Gods desire, and/or also the the worshiping of other gods in relation to the scripture. Keep in mind Gods people were not just having a spiritual affair, but were also physically having sex with the abominable people of heathen nations as you see, Now then, O harlot, hear the word of the Lord36 Thus says the Lord God: “Because your filthiness was poured out and your nakedness uncovered in your harlotrywith your lovers, and with all your abominable idols, and because of the blood of your children which you gave to them,”. The people of Israel were cheating on their first love, their only husband; the Lord God. Just stay with me I will bring to light how these things tie together.
Ezekiel 23:1-21 speaks about the two harlot sister; that being Samaria and Jerusalem. I would encourage you to read this passage as it details the women committing acts of harlotry (female fornication) and lusting for the men and their idols, worshiping their gods (idolatry).
Ezekiel 23:7 (NKJV) “Thus she committed her harlotry with them, All of them choice men of Assyria; And with all for whom she lusted ,With all their idols, she defiled herself.”
Jeremiah 3:8-9 (NKJV) “Then I saw that for all the causes for which backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a certificate of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but went and played the harlot also. So it came to pass, through her casual harlotry, that she defiled the land and committed adultery with stones and trees.”
My reason for using these scriptures was to correlate my stand and bring about a comparison on a few things. Those things being fornication (prostituting) from the male point of view, harlotry and it’s relation to fornication (physically, spiritually), in addition from the female point of view, and idolatry in the sense of it being “spiritual adultery,” better put cheating on God with idols. Now idols can come in many forms it doesn’t have to just be things made and created from the hands of man, but it can be worshiping of self, money, women, addictions, greed, gluttony, etc. Idolatry is simply allowing something to take the place of God in your heart. Our dear brother in the faith John and of our Lord made this clear in his epistle,  Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.”  Another translation says, “Little children, keep yourselves from idols (false gods)—[from anything and everything that would occupy the place in your heart due to God, from any sort of substitute for Him that would take first place in your life]. Amen (so let it be).

So what does any of this has to do with fornication being tied to idolatry? I’ll attempt to bring it home! We know that fornication and harlotry is the prostitution of the body engaging in unlawful sex with another in lust, passion, and desire. We also know that fornication can be combined with harlotry from male and female and that in this case it is symbolic for “spiritual adultery,” against God which comes by “playing the harlot” with idols or things (money, sex, job, objects, drugs, habits, TV, music, celebrities, sports, video games, porn, etc) taking the place of God in the heart. So for men to fornicate, the practice of being impure and unclean; to prostitute themselves seeing they belong to God and their bodies are not their own is a form of idol worship. How so? We’ll let’s look at a few scriptures first:
Do you not know that your bodiesare members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! 16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” 1 Cor. 6:15-16 (NKJV)
Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own,You were bought with a price [purchased with a preciousness and paid for, made His own]. So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in your body.1 Cor. 6:19-20 (AMP)

When a man takes it upon himself, especially a man professing Christ; to fall away into fornication using members of his body that are not his to engage in sex, that man is also committing idolatry. He has allowed his flesh and its cravings to take place of God in his heart. This is a form of self-worship being acted out in unlawful sex. In this moment of heated lust that man has chosen his god, that being sex and its pleasures. That man has said in heart what I desire is what I want, and has also made clear that what God desires and wants to be of no importance. It’s very essential that an understanding be made that sexual immorality is sin; it is sin against the body, impure, a form of idolatry, and crime against God. This form of idolatry doesn’t stop there, even though we know the root of idolatry is bowing to and worshiping lifeless pagan idols, but its also what you devote your precious time to the most. If the very first thing you do in the morning is not give God the very first of your morning, then your committing idolatry the first of your morning. Granted I know that’s a bit extreme given how our mornings can go, but we are to make our time to fit Gods time, not squeeze or pencil God into our time. I believe by being extreme in this case would heighten our sensitivity to reverent fear of God. We wouldn’t treat God so common and trample the Son of God underfoot as much as we do. I’m speaking to the believer and sinner simultaneously. I want to take an extreme position again. So even when your not engaging in the unlawful conduct of having sex outside of Gods covenant in marriage, but let’s say you watch things on tv that practice such things. The sensuality of our culture is sexually charged and we are constantly surrounded by sexual enticements. If you are Christian professing Christ and to have direct fellowship with Him, yet you watch tv shows that promote homosexuality, adultery, fornication, and all types of lewd unbecoming behavior, then let me be extreme. Its not good for you nor is it okay. Why you ask? Well let’s looks at scripture first:
-Though they are fully aware of God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve to die, they not only do them themselves but approve and applaud others who practice them.- Romans 1:32
What this is saying is that if you watch and view these things that the Apostle Paul is referencing to in the previous verses you know that it is wrong and those who commit these shameful acts is worthy of the penalty due. Not only do you know but by your viewing support you condone such things of those who practice them and even though your not engaging in that fornicating scene, or that homosexual themed show by it being your viewing pleasure it’s no different if you was actually doing it. Pretty extreme huh? But with this attitude and approach we must exercise ourselves to the extremity of godliness.
To wrap up I beseech my men and women by the authority and power of God to refrain from sexual sin, fornication, harlotry, and idolatry as it is all types of commandment breakers. God did not call nor ordain us and He definitely didn’t send His only begotten Son to shed righteous blood for us to be defiled and unclean. Or do you not know what the scripture says, “be ye holy, for I am holy!”  Men no longer be “whoremongers” prostituting your souls and inheritance for fleshly cravings (sex, porn, masterbaution) being like that of Esau who prostituted his birth right for a pot of flesh. Women no longer be like those women of ancient times who chased men uncovering their nakedness, bringing shame to themselves and husbands by committing adultery (physically and spiritually), defiling their beds, and worshiping idols who were consistently playing the harlot! We are to discipline ourselves to godliness which takes toil and agony to produce spiritual sweat.
Father God I humbly come before you as a servant, simply desiring to be pleasing and acceptable in Your sight. Lord I have done what You have asked of me in sharing Your word and truth, I would pray Father God that this be Your will and that You allow this to be seen by eyes that needs to see it. Lord I thank You that You have graciously given me such wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of Your word to share with the world. Lord I petition that I be used by You at whatever cost and that by Your grace and strength I make good on that proclamation. I pray for the lost and those ignorant of You who like I used to be until I submitted to You being regenerated and transformed daily into the image of Your dear Son Jesus Christ. May You be blessed and honored for ever and ever. Amen!

“I dictated a covenant (an agreement) to my eyes; how then could I look [lustfully] upon a girl?” Job 31:1 (AMP)

My UNDERSTANDING crazy NICE!!

(Pretty lengthy I try not to but I can't help it at times lol, but those interested in the things of The Lord won't be bothered by length)

To the saints who have obtained like precious faith through God our Father and The Lord Jesus Christ grace and peace be multiplied unto you in the full coming knowledge of The Holy One.

Yo can I be honest and excited one time with yal? Ever since I started this fast offering up idle time from the social networks (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) man my hunger, desire, and excitement for The Lord has increased 100 fold; not to mention the revelation knowledge (understanding) I'm receiving, has been fruitful and enjoyable. I noticed that the idle time dedicated to social media even in regard to ministry was beginning to deposits rust on my heart. Thus causing me to become unprofitable and even rising up within my members carnal and fleshly things. I was becoming complacent with reading my Word always saying, while on the networks: "I'll get to it, I'll read it later!" All the time I was allowing the enemy to creep in opening up a portal of fleshly cravings, and showing God what held preeminence in my life. These cravings would come by female friend request; beginning to lust, reading certain post I would normally and immediately bypass, and just getting extremely passive and lax to certain things I was firm on having no dealings with. So my spirit man woke me up and was like, "bro you tripping and slowly allowing your discipline and fire to be put out, WAKE UP!!" Instantly I thought of what our Lord said to us in Luke 21:34-36 and what our dear brother in the faith Paul said in Romans 13:11-14 (I greatly encourage you to seek out those passages). Now because I'm constantly jealous and zealous for God my spiritual turn up has become TURNT UP🙏🙌💃🏃💃‼️

Now let's dig in to what I wanted to share; I originally didn't have that introduction included, but when God speaks I listen and write.

When fully abiding in Christ; God who is the Father of lights and wisdom will freely enhance our insight and understanding of His ways, words, and Christian intelligence; even more than those before us. This isn't Gods doing by showing us partiality or special treatment, but because we keep His precepts (order of His judgements and laws) ever before our eyes (life); in addition to it being our meditation (prayer, devotion, and reflection all day) [Joshua 1:8]; [Ps. 119:97].

Proverbs 3 states, "Forsake not mercy and truth (meaning don't shun out or put away kindness in righteousness and the truth of God, but by emulating the likeness, manner, obedience, behavior, and obedience of Christ). We are to bind it (knit/join tightly together) and write it (hide it, regard it, and store it) on the tablets of our HEART. In so doing we will obtain favor and high-esteem in the sight (presence) of God and man. Now my reason for including this is that "high-esteem" means that you don't have to seek out things of God, but that Gods wisdom, knowledge, and UNDERSTANDING will just come to you,it will find you.

So it's not by exemption that your UNDERSTANDING will be increasingly more than those before you, but it's by continually listening, accepting, loving, and keeping The Lords precepts that your UNDERSTANDING (discernment and recognizing Godly wisdom) will be more than the ancients (the aged, the old, and even the elders of old who were/are in authority) will be heightened to another level. I don't know if yal can tell, but man I'm stupid pumped for the things of God and ever so grateful God has graciously allowed me the spiritual innate ability to convey His word to the world.

HALLELUJAH GLORY TO THE HIGHEST PRAISE THE LORD!!!! #PraiseUp

Lord I pray and petition this falls on the eyes of whom you set out and see fit, thank You Lord for allowing me to be a servant and vessel in addition to finding a former dope dealing, fornicating, thief, wretched person; who was a slave to sin yet faithful enough to handle Your precious Word. Forever Grateful and Thankful!! Blessed are You oh Lord, Bless Your Name!! Amen🙏🙌

Grace and Peace homies,

Are you a Discipline GODLY MAN? :Join The Book Huddle

                                               The Book Huddle
Where men read a chapter weekly and find ways to apply intentionally and practically.

Are you a Discipline GODLY MAN?

How many times have you promised yourself that you will do better to your body by hitting the gym hard, running the treadmill, or going on a strict diet. How do we get to this? There were some observations we made about our physique either in the mirror or someone mentioned it to us.

Have this been the same for us concerning our spiritual bodies??  Lately you have told yourself “I need to make some devotional time to be consistent with my reading or prayer life”, “I forgot to call that brother back so we can admonish one another in the Lord” or “Why am I so spiritually exhausted.”  Time to time many of us are combating against worldliness, pride, lust, unforgiveness, anxiety, laziness, discontentment, anger, and many other disciplines: all these fall under our sinful state and human depravity in which we fight with daily.

If we are honest with ourselves we are spiritually out of shape. We have been living daily consumed by our strength, skill, and success. This causes us to carry the weight and burdens of our life and others. Unfortunately, we do this to ourselves unintentionally, how? It is not because of our habitual practices and life priorities within the world. It is not because the culture and influences that surrounds us.  It is because we fail to intentionally apply God’s revealed word assertively to our hearts daily.

According to Proverbs 3:5-6, we fail to trust in the Lord with ALL our Heart,  we also lean on our own understanding at times. There are even times when we acknowledge more of our circumstances than Him which result in being spiritually tired and exhausted going our own way.

God is promising not only spiritual but physical well-being for those who live wisely according to His will: “it will be healing to your body and refreshment to your bones (Pr 3:8).”  Such physical well-being is forfeited when we begin to sin against our Lord. Toning up the spiritual body is here. When are our desires and passions become a  pleasure to seek and glorify Him for total satisfaction.

Beloved brothers, we have no excuse to wander from our Lord and as to why we are either spiritually fat or malnourished.  Nothing shall be master over you ( 1 Cor 6:12).  Let’s raise the bar, knock out those areas where we fall short or fail in accomplishing our desired goal to get into spiritual shape. Exercise self-control in all things and put the body under subjection ( 1 Cor 9:24-27), and discipline ourselves for the purpose of GODLINESS!!! ( 1 Tim 4:6-10).

There is a desperate demand for Godly MAN, and it is essential that we begin to take responsibility to be sons who have genuine faith and sons who are obsessively obedient to our Heavenly Father, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Trials & Triumph in the Wilderness

Have you been in the wilderness?
Where God teaches, He tests our faith
He exposes our deceitful, dirty, darkened hearts
The doubt, discontent, self centeredness, the jealousy, the pride, the hatred

In the wilderness
God reveals that He is the true, living, and only God
The God who gives water, the God who feeds the hungry
The God who clothes the naked
The God who fights the battle of the weak

In the wilderness,
God displays his divine Love
His faithfulness, His lovingkindness, His compassion,
In the wilderness we witness that God is mighty and gracious
A God who is slow to anger, abounding in truth
Forgives iniquity, transgressions and sin

Will you take matters in our own hands?
Storing food and material things for ourselves as if God will not provide
Will you continue to walk in disbelief?
Will you strive any longer without seeking His face?
Do you pray or Do you sleep on the things that you should go before the Lord?
Why do you continue to blind yourself ?
Not knowing where your deceitful heart is leading you

In the wilderness God does not leave the guilty unpunished
There is great judgment
Upon those who desired to live their own way
He has given us His word
Therefore we must abide in it
If we are God’s people
He has a greater place, a greater promise,
A greater destiny that no other man has to offer
and
How long will it take?

Until we believe and totally depend upon Him
In whatever place or state
God is in control--
His glory is reserved for those who are willing
To suffer the trials for His goodness
And
Endure temptations that bring us to His holiness

Are you ready to live in the Wilderness?

Welcome to the RoundTable

Greetings Brothers,

If you are reading this it is because you have been invited to join The RoundTable. Now you are probably asking yourself what is The RoundTable about, why have I been selected to become part of this. Psalm 133:1 says "How good and pleasant for brothers to dwell together in unity." Time to time many of us are combating against worldliness, pride, lust, unforgiveness, anxiety, laziness, discontentment, anger, and many more: all these fall under our sinful state and human depravity in which we fight with daily.

After speaking with some of you, the idea and initiative was confirm with our beloved brother Aaron Jones. He mentioned that we should have a blog space/writers block-- Where brothers can receive encouragement, biblical advice, direction as to resources that will inform and equip one another in this spiritual warfare we are fighting daily.

I am aware that we all are located in different areas, living on different levels with our Lord, transitioning into different phases of our lives, but we all can come together in one mind, one spirit, to glorify one Lord. I hope that The RoundTable can be an avenue in which we can journey along together and not be alone or feel alone in the various experiences we are encountering.

This blog-space is open for you to post whatever that the Lord leads you, but I do hope and pray that it will be edifying to exhort us to pursue godliness. So please share accordingly with whom you are lead and do not be afraid to post as to the smallest post or even largest post. Remember we are here to uplift one another in the union of Christ.

(If you would like to submit a post please feel free to share your email, Thank You!)

Let Brotherly
Love Continue,
The RoundTable
